The DMR team have also issued an appeal for winter vehicle storage facilities which are accessible 24/7 across Donegal in the event of severe winter weather conditions.
The team vehicles came under enormous pressure last year with engine failure and diesel freezing whilst assisting vulnerable members of our community who were cut off and who were ill or short on food and medicines.
During this period HSE Community nurses were also transported to their patients and the sick or frail transported to Hospital or Care homes.
Anyone who wishes to offer the use of a premises should contact secretary@donegalmrt.ie, send a message via Facebook or contact 087 2284600.
