Gardai have issued a warning for roads across the county after very heavy rain throughout the day.
A number of roads have become partially flooded and there are large puddles left on many roads.
A Garda spokesman asked people to slow down and to take care.
“Conditions are hazardous out there. There is a lot of surface water and this can lead to accidents.
“We are asking people to slow down and drive with extra care,” he said.
