GAA NOTES: NAOMH MHUIRE

Under 8 training on Saturday morning at 11. Under 10 training on Saturday morning at 10.

The reserves and seniors make the journey to Ballintra this weekend to take on N. Brid who are also going well and joint second in the table at present. The games are fixed for Saturday evening with a 15:45 throw in for Reserves and 17:15 throw in for Seniors. With only a few games remaining it is important to get out and support the Seniors as they push for promotion.

There will be a quiz night this Saturday night 15th October in Sharkets bar starting at 9:30. Quizmaster will be Tony Doherty and a good nights craic is promised.

The annual rental advertising board rental renewal is now due. Advertisers already with an advert board – 100 euro. For new advertisers/sponsors the fee is 200 euro. Contact Seamus Rodgers or Danny Doogan.

There was a very successful club development plan session last Friday evening. Thanks to all who attended and there was a lot of good discussion. Also a very positive meeting on Monday night last that set out some objectives for the club and thanks to all those who attended.

Naomh Mhuire GAA club is hoisting a ‘Scor na nOg’ competition confined to the club area in Aislann Rann na feirste on Sunday 16th October @6pm.

To be eligble entrants must be under 17 years.

The winners will represent The Naomh Mhuire club in the Regional competition in Aislann Rann na feirste on the 28th October.

The upcoming planned Come Dine with Me on Friday October 21st has been postponed until January. The Club is still searching for another few. Please see facebook and website for further details.

Well done to Eugene Byrne who represented the club during the half time of the county final. Under 12 players from across the county got the chance to play in MacCumhaill Park and entertain the crowd. Eugene even managed to score four points. Well done!!!

Lotto details for week 5th October; jackpot 2780 euro. No jackpot winner. There were four match 3 winners – Neily P Boyle – Meendoirenaslua, Annie McBride – Meendoirenaslua, Mimmie Ward – Belcruit, Angela Gillespie – An Bhraid. Numbers were 7-13-14-23. New sellers for Annagry area needed anyone interested contact committee member.
