Buncrana senior footballers were beaten by four points away to Carndonagh last Saturday. The final score was 2-6 to 0-8.

Under 13 Hurling
Our u13 hurlers did the club proud on Sunday morning in Owenbeg, Co. Derry when they reached the final of the Northwest league, a first for any underage team in the club in our short hurling history. To get to the final they had to overcome Derry Kingpins Ballinascreen, and the boys stuck to the task, fought for every ball and produced some of their best hurling to date and deservedly won by 4 points, setting up a final against Kevin Lynchs, and although the boys were well beaten in the final they can hold their heads high and put a fitting end to has been a great year for underage hurling in the club, most of this team were part of the historic u14 team who claimed 5 titles this year and most of Sundays team also won the u12 county league title. The team included, Darren Fitzpatrick, Ben Doherty (roe), Fiachra MacLochainn, Declan McCarron, Patrick Wilson, Paul Tourish, Kevin Vaughan, James Doherty(Capt), Oisin Grant, Dylan Duffy, Craig Doherty, Niall Doherty, Daniel Deery, David Doherty,PJ McCarron, Arron Craig, Matthew Wilson, Luke Timlin, Oisin Hegarty, Darren Connolly, Gavin Kelly and Cathal Og Wilson.
Girls Under 12 & Senior Ladies Football
The girls u12 footballer’s took part in an Ulster blitz in Galbally Co. Tyrone on Saturday, and pitted their wits against teams from Tyrone, Antrim and Monaghan and the management team were justly proud of the
girls effort’s. Some of these girls mother’s also made an historic first for the the club when they took part in a friendly in Convoy on Wednesday night,the “Gaelic for mothers” side started well and were in front at
halftime but a bigger squad enabled the Convoy side to put on fresh players gave them a narrow win. They are already looking forward the return leg and all new mothers are always welcome. A phone has been found recently in the club grounds it can be claimed by contacting Lawerence Hegarty.
