Pride of place this week must go to our u-16 girls who won the County Division 1 title last Friday evening in Milford. This is a massive achievement considering most of the girls are still underage next year and they were up against a much fancied and experienced Moville team. It was a game where the girls showed unbelievable heart and determination and were cheered on by a large support. Great credit to all involved with this team all year.
Under 8s and u10’s training continues on Saturdays as normal. The under 13s lost out to Ardara last weekend in the league. They will play away to Dungloe this Saturday at 11am.
Their will be a minor board meeting in the banks this Sunday evening at 6pm. It is important that all managers attend this end of season review meeting.
The Reserve championship second leg match against Carndonagh has been fixed for this Saturday at 4pm at the Banks. Carn proved too strong away but there is hope that we can turn this around at home. Both Seniors and Reserves are then out on Sunday in the league when they both travel to Buncrana with the Seniors looking to stay focused on the league.
