WINDS gusting to 70km/hr, heavy showers, hail and even thunder are in the forecast for Donegal today and tonight.
RTE, BBC and Sky forecasters all say it will be a terrible day in the county today.
RTE even reports a chance of some flooding due to the heavy downpours today.
It reports: “Widespread, occasionally heavy, showers for Saturday with a high risk of scattered thunderstorms. More persistent rain during the afternoon in northern and northwestern counties may lead to localised flooding there. Fresh to strong, west to northwest winds generally and feeling rather cool. Highest temperatures 12 to 15 degrees Celsius.”
There will be fewer showers on Sunday but it will be windy and those showers will be heavy.
