The ladies concluded their season with 2 very hotly contested mini-league finals on Monday last. In the first final the All-Nighters played Double Trouble. Double Trouble went into an early lead but some great goal scoring from the All-Nighters earned them victory. Clare Breslin captain of the winning team accepted the cup form senior player Conal Molloy.
In the second final Susie’s Chicks faced Is Feidir Linn in a very competitive match. The lead swung both ways throughout the game. However Susie’s Chicks very much leaned on come great coaching tips from manager Susanne White throughout the month of August and were narrowly victorious in the end. Afterwards Captain Sharon White accepted the cup from Lady Mayoress Mairead Gallagher. Many thanks to referees Andrew Mullin and Paul Hegarty and to Flor and Rita Nolan who prepared a lovely meal afterwards. Well done to all the girls who participated and ended the year with a very enjoyable evening.
