Monday morning has rolled around so quickly after the whirlwind week we’ve had at the Media Box HQ. We are absolutely delighted that Joanne is back at her desk this week, looking awesome as usual; the team has really missed her worldly wisdom!
After yesterdays charity “Super Valu Super Hero” climb of Mount Errigal; our feet are resting up, I’m afraid there are no heels in the office today. Although, I must say, the team were relieved that it was boots and wellies they were pulling out of the mud rather than heels! Check out how we rocked our Media Box Super Hero costumes. Our team included; Captain Creative aka Joanne Sweeney Burke who was the first of the team to the top, Captain Creative’s Sidekick aka Tom Burke, The Super Strategist aka Corinne Temple, The Media Mogul aka Erin McGettigan, The Rapid Rhymer aka Erin Coyle, The Digital Dazzler aka Djameela Dollie and last but not least The Personal Trainer aka Edel Carroll. The 2, 464 ft was indeed a challenge but it was clear to be seen that everyone involved had a great day. The climb was in association with Kavanagh’s Supervalu’s “Help Us Help Others” Campaign launched in May that will see the four SuperValu stores rally to fundraise €30,000 in aid of the Donegal Hospice by October.
Well done to Veronica Ruddy from Carndonagh, Co. Donegal who is the lucky winner of €1,000 in this week’s Gallagher’s Bakery Grab a Grand competition. After finding her golden ticket in her White Sliced Pan bought in Kelly’s Service Station in Carndonagh, Veronica was entered into a draw with other contenders and was randomly selected as this week’s Grab a Grand winner. Each week Gallagher’s Bakery will put 20 lucky golden tickets into their famous White Sliced Pan with one ticket holder walking away €1,000 richer. Those who found the lucky golden tickets in this week and last week’s batches will also be entered into a competition to win five pairs of tickets to the Donegal vs. Dublin game which will be held in Croke Park this Sunday. To be in with your chance to Grab a Grand pick up your Gallagher’s White Sliced Pan from any store, enjoy the new and improved recipe and keep your fingers crossed for the lucky loaf with the golden ticket.
