All the focus this week will be on the “Strictly “ dancers who take to the stage in the Milford Inn on Friday night, best wishes to all the dancers and all involved in the organising, it promises to be a fantastic night’s entertainment and a huge credit must go to the dedication and commitment shown by participating dancers over the last couple of months. Tickets have been sold out, so for those lucky enough to have reserved their seats doors open at 7.00 and the show commences at 7.30- sit back and enjoy!
The Senior Team were very disappointed to have bowed out of this year’s Intermediate Cup competition going down by a point in a very hard fought game to Aodh Rua in the decider on Saturday evening last at Convoy. Best wishes now to Aodh Rua in the next rounds of the Cup.
The Cúl GAA Summer Camp was a great success again this year and thanks must go to all the children who turned up, the organisers and the coaches who ensured a fun and educational week was had by all. The highpoint of the week was the participation of Donegal Captain Micheal Murphy, fresh from Ulster Championship success. Hopefully many of those taking part in the Summer Camp will be heading to Croke Park on Saturday to cheer the Donegal team on in their Quarter Final clash with Kildare, Ádh mór ó achan duine sa pharóiste!
Congratulations are extended to the Fanad Accordion Band who became Ulster Champions again on Sunday last, best wishes now as they prepare for the All Ireland Fleadh later in August.
