While RTE is cautious (they always give us rain), Irish Weather Online is predicting a period of warm and humid weather.
Temperatures will be in the low 20s on Monday and Tuesday with even warmer weather on Wednesday.
There may be the possibility of the odd shower on Thursday and Friday but it will be pleasantly warm.
The site says of next weekend: “The warmth or heat could last through Saturday before beginning to break (but now that this warm spell is finally here, perhaps its ending will get delayed in the same fashion as its onset was — do you think that would be fair?) … from the models, would suggest Saturday in the range of 24-27 C and Sunday 17-20 C with higher chance of showers than most days in this week.”
