More than 12 workers at a Gaoth Dobhair-based community development company have been put on protective notice. The staff at Meitheal Forbartha na Gaeltachta (MFG) were told that dwindling funds mean they may lose their jobs.

Golf club enters a new cycle
Letterkenny Golf Club has come up with a new way of raising money – using a washing machine. Dozens of golfers have been lining up to try their luck after the club introduced the washing machine chipper challenge. Golfers have to chip the ball into the open washing machine at €2 a time.
