Gardai in Donegal Town are hunting sick thieves behind a raid on a charity shop.

Detectives believe the premises in Water Street were raided around 2.30am on Monday.

Thieves forced their way into the premises and made off with a small sum of cash.

Gardai are renewing their appeal to anyone with information to contact them at Donegal Garda station.

Meanwhile, Gardai have recovered a high powered motor cycle after it was stolen during a burglary in Donegal Town at the weekend.

The motorbike was nicked from a house in the Drumrooske area.
