U-12s hosted Crossmaglen,Coalisland and St Pauls of Belfast last Saturday in a blitz,which turned out too be a great days entertainment and some evenly contested games of the highest standard. Well done too everybody involved on making the day a big success. Here`s hoping this can become a annual event also. Results on the day were Killybegs 2.8 Coalisland 7pts, Crossmaglen 3.8 St Pauls 2.7, Killybegs 0.6 St Pauls 1.4. Coalisland 3.6 Crossmaglen 2.9, St Pauls 3.8 Coalisland 3.5, Crossmaglen 1.7 Killybegs 9pts. Training continues on friday evening at 6pm in fintra. Next game is at home too Bundoran on monday night at 7p.
Killybegs Ladies team would like to thank Glen GAA club for their invitation to the Darren Mc Ginley Memorial Tournament. A great day was had by everyone. The Ladies were in the Shield final but unfortunately narrowly lost out to Ardara.
The 2nd round of Ladies Championship against Lifford in Fintra ended in victory by 4 points. What showed to be a tough and exhilarating game will now go to a third game at a neutral venue.
There will be club meeting on 17th of June in Fintra clubroom at 8.30.
Our under 8’s played their first blitz of the year in Ardara last Friday evening. On a great evening for football they put in a terrific performance. We would like to thank all the great support we had on the night and a big thank you to all the coaches who helped out with the teams. Thanks to Ardara also for their fine running of the blitz. This Friday sees the Under 8’s travel to Glencolmcille for their second blitz of the year. Please come along and support these fabulous young players of the future
