The two young men involved in a serious road crash yesterday are two brothers from a set of triplets.
The men, named locally as Graham and Grant Wilder, from Strabane, are both in hospital after the overnight collision.
The 24 year olds were in a car which crashed on the N14 at Galdonagh near Drumoghill off the main Letterkenny to Lifford road.
Grant, who was believed to be drivng, was being treated at Letterkenny General Hospital, where his condition is serious but stable.
Graham, the passenger of white Peugeot 205, suffered more serious head injuries and was transferred to Beaumont hospital in Dublin with serious head injuries.
A technical examination of the area has been completed.
A local source said the crash happened near a bend on the road around 4am.
The incident follows several weeks where increased garda patrols had helped to reduce the number of road traffic collisions.
