DONEGAL rockers The Plea have announced a summer gig schedule.
Following the success of their single ‘I Am The Miracle’ (you can watch that by clicking the video above) the band won’t make it home to Donegal for a gig.
But they will be playing in Sligo.
The band – formed by Ballyliffin brothers Denny and Dermot Doherty – is already taking the music industry by storm.
The band have just finished recording their debut album with Chris Potter (The Verve, The Rolling Stones, U2) which will be released later this year.
To celebrate, they’ve lined up a host of nationwide dates across June, July and August that will see them support the likes of Ash, Fred and The Riptide Movement. In addition to that, they will make appearances at The Temple House Festival, Oxegen and Glasgowbury.
Those dates in full:
June 1 Arts Centre, Wexford (w/ Fred)
June 2 The Spirit Store, Dundalk (w/ Fred)
June 6 Whelans (w/ Ash)
June 7 Playhouse, Portrush (w/ Ash)
June 8 Belfast Empire (w/ Ash)
June 12 Temple House Festival, Sligo
July 8 -10 Oxegen (day TBC)
July 23 Glasgowbury
Aug 5 Whelans (w/ The Riptide Movement).
