A massive search will begin again this morning for a 22 year old Lifford man missing since Sunday.
David Culhoon was last seen while in PSNI custody in Strabane.
Donegaldaily understands Mr Culhoon broke free from custody from a PSNI car and headed towards the River Foyle.
He has not been seen since and neither his girlfriend or his family have heard from him since he disappeared.
A search team combed the banks of the River Foyle all day yesterday and will resume the search again this morning.
A Garda source revealed “At this stage we don’t know of David’s whereabouts. He was last seen heading towards the river and that is where our search is concentrating.
“We would ask anybody who may know where David is or if they have possibly heard form him to contact us. This is a very difficult time for his family.”
