The organisers of Lord of the Ring 2 – a fundraising white collar tournament have received a huge boost after securing a professional exhibition bout.

And if you think Raphoe’s Danny ‘Boy’ Ryan and Dubliner Jim Pink Panther’ Rock will take it easy on eachother, then think again.

Danny, a psychiatric nurse, is still in top shape and too to pushing a pram containing one of his children around the ecent North West 10k while the rest of us could barely push fluids!

However, despite his blonde highlights, nobody doubts the punching power of Jim Rock.

The grudge match is set to put even more bums on seats for organisers Letterkenny Rugby Club and Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital.

Tickets for the event at the Silver Tassie on Friday, May 20th are already walking out the door.

But the sight of Danny and Jim going toe-to-toe is sure to make it a sell-out once more.

Some of the victims…sorry opponents on the night include a list of whose who from the world of media, business and sport throughout the county.

They include Highland Radio’s Kevin Collins and Barry White, sculptor Redmond Herrity, driving guru Stephen Sweeney and postman Stephen Doherty.

Other notable big-hitters planning to last three rounds include Charlie Joe McGinley, Cathal McGlynn, Karol Harvey, Hugh Downey, Fintan Maloney and Michael Lynch.
