HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE will take part in the Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge tomorrow (Saturday) over one of the world’s most spectacular routes.
Runners and walkers – many raising money for charity – will be taking part in the challenge.
And if you’re one of them, here’s a video of the route…to the great music of Goats Don’t Shave.
The challenge, which is backed by Olympic team manager Patsy McGonagle, will also provide a tourism boost to the local economy with runners and walkers coming from all over Ireland and Britain.
Said Patsy: “The Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge is not just about a race; it’s about being out and about as a runner or a walker over a spectacular route.”
Those taking part will cross over roads, tracks and even a beach – with the last mile run over sand!
Donegaldaily.com will be there and we wish all those taking part the very best. Enjoy.
