A CREDITORS’ meeting has been called during the Easter holidays for people owed money by Beetroot, the Letterkenny restaurant which went bust last week.
Donegaldaily.com understands that a large number of people from throughout County Donegal have gift vouchers for the restaurant which they were unable to redeem before the shutters were pulled down last Wednesday.
They can attend the meeting as unsecured creditors. It will take place on Easter Tuesday, April 26th at 9am at Gallagher’s Hotel in Letterkenny.
We understand that some vouchers for the restaurant were actually bought on the day it closed.
However it is not unusual, we have been told, for a creditors’ meeting to take place on what for many people is a holiday.
The registered address for Beetroot Limited is Drumacanoo, Churchill, Letterkenny, Co Donegal.
The company last filed accounts in April 2010.
