Congratulations to our senior men’s road relay team who took a bronze medal in the National Championship’s in Raheny at the weekend.
The team consisted of Darren McBrearty, Paddy Brennan, Ciaran Doherty and Danny Mooney. The team were just pipped for second place by Joe Sweeney who posted the fastest two mile time of the day on the last leg.
We also had a ‘B’ team at the race and consisted of Garvin Walker, Christy Johnston, Darren King and James McFadden.
This weekend its all systems go for the Easter 3 k run. The race begins at 11.15 from the LYIT and entries will be taken from 10am at Aura Leisure Centre.
The following weekend is the North West 10k and organisers are appealing to as many people as possible to enter online. They can do this by going to the North West 10k website.
