A driver had a lucky escape when a teleporter fell off the back of a lorry in Letterkenny this afternoon.
The driver had just navigated around the roundabout at O’Donnell Park when the accident happened.
Nobody was hurt during the incident which happened around 1pm.
Gardai were called who immediately put traffic management systems in order.
The accident did cause traffic congesiton in the area for a time.
One eye-witness said “It looked very bad but thankfully nobody was hurt. Thankfully nobody was walking along the footpath when the teleporter fell off.
“That could have been a very different situation,” he said.
