The RNLI answered its first call of the New Year in Donegal when it took an ill man from Tory Island for treatment.
The crew from Arranmore Island took a man from the island and transported him to Burtonport.
From there he was transported by ambulance to Letterkenny General Hospital where he received medical treatment.
The man was described as being in a comfortable condition.
