He’s the funny one who always sits on the left of RTE’s The Panel.
He mightn’t have the looks of host Craig Doyle, but Colin Murphy’s cutting one-liners could wipe the smile off the BBC sports presenter’s moisturised face any day.
If Murphy’s brand of sarcastic wit tickles your ribcage then the good news is that he’s on his way to Donegal.
Murphy, who also wrote and presented the very under-rated Blizzard of Odd on RTE, arrives at the Balor Theatre in Ballybofey for just one night – this Friday, December 5th.
DD isn’t name-dropping but we last caught Murphy about 10,000 feet in the Alps when he played the Altitude Comedy Festival in Meribel, France.
It might have been a ridiculous -50 degrees but Murphy’s gags were enough to keep us smiling through the frostbite.
If you want an antidote for the four year plan, the budget and rising petrol prices, then you need to get along to the Balor.
Tickets for Murphy’s show can be purchased by contacting the Balor Arts Centre on 0749131840 or on www.theboxoffice.ie.
Tell them we sent you and you’ll get absolutely nothing off the price of admission – but you will be guaranteed a great night!
