Numerous emergency service agencies are attending the scene of an incident in Teelin this afternoon.
Gardaí, emergency services, the Killybegs Coast Guard, and the Rescue 118 helicopter has attended the scene of what has been described as an emergency at the Teelin Pier.
The Rescue 118 helicopter was at the scene around two hours ago, but has returned to its base in Sligo.
It’s understood locally that a diver involved in a diving event at the pier may have been injured, however that has not been confirmed officially.
The emergency services being co-ordinated by the Malin Head Coast Guard Centre.
In a statement to Donegal Daily, Gardaí confirmed they are currently assisting at an incident at Teelin Bay, and that no further information is available at this time.
