A star of one of television’s current most popular shows has revealed his grandfather comes for Ramelton.
Brendan Coyle has become a huge hit on the ITV period drama Downton Abbey.
Coyle, 48, says his character on the show, Bates, reminds him of his grandfather.
“What he concealed was much more important than what he revealed. He reminds me of my grandfather,” he said.
